Web Development Services That Ship Fast Sites, Not Just Pretty Ones

We build custom websites, marketing platforms and content-driven products on modern front-end stacks, engineered for Core Web Vitals, search visibility and the CMS workflow your team actually uses.

What are web development services?

Web development services cover the design, engineering, testing and ongoing support of a website or web platform: front-end interfaces, back-end APIs, database design, CMS integration, hosting setup and performance work. Anviam delivers all of it in-house with React, Next.js, Node.js, Laravel and Django, and every build ships with Core Web Vitals budgets, structured data and analytics already wired in rather than added later.

Built for Performance

A Website Is a Performance Budget Before It Is a Design

Most sites we are asked to rebuild are not ugly. They are slow, hard to edit and invisible in search. So we start from the constraints that actually decide those outcomes: a page-weight budget, a Largest Contentful Paint target, a content model your marketing team can edit without a developer, and a URL structure that will not need redirecting again in two years.

From there the stack is a decision, not a default. A content-heavy marketing site is usually best on Next.js with a headless CMS. A site your team updates hourly may be better on WordPress with a hardened theme. A product site with complex logic often wants a custom admin. We tell you which of those fits and why, then build it with the tests, monitoring and documentation that make it maintainable after we hand it over.

What We Build

Web Development Services We Deliver

Every engagement below is delivered by in-house engineers and designers, with the same review process regardless of project size.

Headless CMS Builds

Next.js or Nuxt front-ends backed by Strapi, Sanity or Contentful, so content and presentation can evolve independently.

E-commerce Development

Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento storefronts plus custom checkout flows, payment gateways and ERP integration.

WordPress Development

Custom themes and plugins on hardened, well-cached WordPress, including migrations off page-builder bloat.

Performance & Core Web Vitals

Audits and remediation for slow sites: image pipelines, render-blocking scripts, caching strategy and server response times.

Website Redesign & Replatforming

Staged redesigns that preserve rankings, with redirect mapping and pre-launch crawl comparisons.

Why Anviam

What You Get That a Template Build Will Not Give You

The difference between a site that ranks and a site that merely exists is almost always in the parts nobody demos. Here is what we hold ourselves to on every web build.

Talk to Our Team
  • A documented redirect map before launch, so a redesign never drops existing rankings
  • Server-rendered or statically generated HTML, so crawlers and LLM agents see real content
  • Structured data for organisation, breadcrumbs, articles and FAQs generated from the CMS
  • WCAG 2.2 AA contrast, focus states and keyboard navigation tested, not assumed
  • Image pipelines that ship modern formats at the right dimensions automatically
  • A handover pack: architecture notes, CMS guide and access to every service we set up
Our Process

How a Web Development Engagement Runs

1

Discovery & Content Model

We map pages, templates and content types before design, so nothing gets invented during build.

2

Design & Prototype

Wireframes then high-fidelity design in Figma, reviewed on real breakpoints rather than a single desktop mock.

3

Build in Sprints

Two-week sprints with a staging URL from week one, so you see the real site rather than screenshots.

4

QA, SEO & Accessibility Pass

Cross-browser testing, Lighthouse budgets, structured data and a full crawl against the redirect map.

5

Launch & Support

DNS cutover, monitoring, analytics verification and a support window with agreed response times.

FAQ

Common Questions About Web Development Services

How much does web development cost?

A focused marketing site with a CMS typically lands between a small five-figure sum and the low tens of thousands, depending on template count and integrations. A larger platform with custom logic, multi-language content or ERP integration runs higher. We scope from your page inventory and integration list rather than quoting a package, and we give you a fixed range after a discovery call so you can budget honestly.

How long does it take to build a website?

Six to fourteen weeks is the normal band. A brochure-style site on an established design system can ship in six. A multi-template site with a headless CMS, migrations and third-party integrations usually needs ten to fourteen. The single biggest schedule risk is content: builds slip when copy and imagery arrive late, so we agree a content deadline in week one.

Will a redesign hurt our search rankings?

It can, and that is almost always avoidable. Rankings drop on redesigns when URLs change without redirects, when content is cut, or when server-rendered pages become client-only JavaScript. We crawl your existing site first, build a one-to-one redirect map, keep the pages that earn traffic, and re-crawl on staging to compare titles, headings and internal links before cutover.

Do you work with WordPress or only custom stacks?

Both. WordPress is a genuinely good answer when your team publishes frequently and needs editorial autonomy, and we build custom themes and plugins on it rather than stacking page builders. When a site needs component-level control, tighter performance or an application-like front end, Next.js with a headless CMS is usually the better call. We recommend based on who maintains the site after launch.

Can you take over an existing site from another agency?

Yes, and it is a common starting point. We begin with a technical audit covering code quality, dependency versions, security exposure, performance and SEO health, then give you a written assessment with options: maintain as-is, refactor in place, or rebuild. You get that assessment as a deliverable whether or not you continue with the build.

Do you provide hosting and ongoing maintenance?

We set up and manage hosting on AWS, Vercel or your preferred provider, and offer maintenance retainers covering security patching, dependency updates, uptime monitoring, backups and a monthly performance report. You own every account and repository throughout, so a retainer is a choice rather than a lock-in.
